on this day last year:
my belly was big. and tight.
my mommy was here - baking a baby-be-born-soon pie.

and a crumbly topping.
crisp apples.
cinnamon.
and lot's and lot's of love.

we tucked ourselves in for the night
...and then there was a babe.
I do believe that all good things in life...are preceded by pie. I have a serious hangkering for warm cinnamon and apples from the oven. What a better way to celebrate this day of life...don't you think?
