oh, bri.
beauty. full.
+++
i can’t believe.

i am thinking of all the places we’ve been together.
the thoughts we’ve shared.
your wisdom beyond your years.
+++
i am wondering of you.
hoping you are safe. and warm.
and happy.+++
you have been in every thump of my heart today.
every blink of my lashes.
every waking moment.
+++
the hours keep passing.
it’s sinking in.

haven't stopped thinking about her, either. Talked to your sweet mama. Such a privilege to have photographed her. I hope she is happy, too. And that the light suits her. I know it will.
ReplyDeletethinking of you and the many families who will be missing her and remembering her when they see their babies faces.
ReplyDeletewhat a beautiful way to be remembered...
I am thinking of her too, and how she was one of the only people I let be present at my birth, She took really good care of me on that scary day. Her and mom were soul sisters, I am still just stunned. Her pretty little spirit will always live on.
ReplyDeleteOh, Lindsey. So much love + sorrow + remembering + futures changed.
ReplyDeleteMuch love + peace to you today. XOXO
My doula heart aches for the birth community. My friend heart aches for you. And my admiring heart aches for your mom.
ReplyDeleteFor everything there is a season ... laugh, dance, mourn.
so sorry Lindsay. thinking of you and sending love and comfort your way.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe either, and yes she is so beautiful
